Coach
Lana Graham
Hi! My name is Lana. I am originally from Russia; moved to United States in 2006. My Crossfit journey started in 2016 when I was in search of an exercise routine that I can commit and see some positive changes in my body and my mind set. An old friend of mine had recommended to try CrossFit since she, herself , lost over 50 lb by joining the gym and changing eating habits. Ever since joining CrossFit , I have never looked back. I love everything about what Crossfit community has to offer. I currently hold CrossFit Level 1 certification . I truly enjoy helping people to reach their fitness goals and maximize their potential. I believe that CrossFit community is the place is where you are celebrated and not just tolerated.
Coach
Logan Jackson
Hey I’m Logan! I’m a Weaverville native and proud of it. I have spent over 10 years in competitive gymnastics competing in the Southeast Region. After graduating from North
Buncombe High School, I transitioned to CrossFit in 2019. I loved it from my first day! What I love most about this sport is that it is meant for everyone, and it is accepting of everyone. All of the workouts are modifiable to each person’s capability. Everyone, no matter what level of fitness, can do CrossFit. We’re a family here, and we all are here to not only improve ourselves, but to help improve our fellow athletes. To motivate, encourage, and support each other through
the workouts is our top priority. That’s why I love CrossFit. If you feel like you need a place with a strong, encouraging community, then definitely come by and see us. We’d love to have you join our family.
Coach
Mariel Gutierrez
Hey people my people! My name is Mariel. I'm originally from Tijuana, BC, Mexico and moved to North Carolina in 2014. I started my CrossFit journey in an unconventional way. When I was younger I was a Jazz Hip-Hop dancer; I had a back injury that I never took care of and after having my 3 kids it got worse. That took me to Physical Therapy at XC CrossFit years later. The goal was to feel better and be able to exercise again. I wasn't really into fitness, but then I experienced this place and met their people. I was amazed with what they were able to do! The energy was awesome, and the members were super nice! CrossFit become a passion of mine so I decided to become a coach myself. I'm a L1 coach and I thrive on seeing and helping people to hit their goals, push their limits and see how powerful their bodies can be. What I love the most about CrossFit is that you can adapt it to your capacities, so everybody is able to do it! If you're looking for a place to start your fitness journey, make friends, and become stronger; you're looking at the right place. We'll be happy to have you here and be part of our community. Give us a try!
Physical Therapist | Coach
Angel Trail
Hi my name is Angel! I am a physical therapist and CrossFit Level 1 trainer. I coach the age 50+ CrossFit program, LifeLong Strong, and I own the physical therapy business at the gym. My passions are helping people with injuries, teaching movement, and healthy aging.
I started CrossFit in 2009 and got hooked right away. Not only was it really fun, but I also felt stronger and more powerful than I ever had during my previous training in gymnastics, martial arts and dance. It also really helped my chronic back pain. It was funny because at the time all the physical therapists I knew thought CrossFit was dangerous and bad for your body, but I felt better than I ever had. Now there’s a lot of evidence of how effective high intensity functional training is with risks of injury similar to any other sport. Whether you are a member yet or not, please feel free to reach out to me with questions about injuries and injury prevention. I’m here to help!
In Memory of
Richie Lancaster

Richie was co-founder and co-owner of X-Caliber CrossFit until February 2024 when he unexpectedly and tragically passed away. Richie was the kindest soul and really cared about each and every person that walked through the door. He was an L2 certified coach and had been in the CrossFit industry for over 10 years. He worked as a Sgt. State Trooper until August of 2023 when he retired to be at the gym full time. He put his blood sweat and tears into helping to launch and make our gym what it is today. We miss him every day but he lives on in the spirit and kindness of our community. His memorial wall at our gym is to remember the amazing person he was and the impact he had over every person that knew him. Forever with us Richie.
